…but why an experiment?
so I’m no scientist-but what I do know is when you take a little bit of this and mix it with a little bit of that-just like science- in fashion- (and in life) sometimes things work and sometimes, well you end up with a big mess-right? sometimes you could dream up the fiercest jam to wear for the weekend, go on a dire mission to get all of the components with a strong conviction that this.will.work and boom- you look like you are wearing a potato sack.
refusing to be defeated, it is back to the drawing board-a.k.a-your closet. after hours of agonizing, switching shirts, adding a necklace, removing said necklace, try on every pair of jeans you own (which in my case is A LOT!), several different shoe choices, sweat, tears, squats for those jeans you haven’t worn in 3 years, an apartment that looks like a bomb hit it, you have done it ---success!
now that is my kind of experiment.
but this is the fun of it all-finding what works for you and committing to a style that says hello world- this is me-like one hundo percent. the closet experiment is going to teach you how to get in touch with your inner fashion icon without breaking the bank. And when you are ready to invest in that must have piece- you do it with purpose and it will last a lifetime
